Here's how you scan for HIKVISION devices within a LAN.
1. Use your HIK-CONNECT for End User App. 2. Select Online Device 3. The online devices will appear. If you cannot detect the devices, check the following. 1. You are connected to the same main network. Guest wifi network doesn't work as they hid the other devices from your network connection. 2. If your network has VLAN setup, make sure you are on the same VLAN as the HIKVISION devices. 3. Make sure that the HIKVISION device is powered on and connected to the network. 4. The HIKVISION device might be faulty. You might need to replace it. 5. This app only detect HIKVISION device. If you are not using HIKVISION device, it'll not be able to detect it.
